Uxbridge Bruins alumnus joins the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In 1993 Brandon Pridham was becoming a reckoning force with this young Bruins club where he played 4 seasons and by the 95/96 season he was team captain leading the Bruins to a 1st place and Central C League Championship. Today he is assistant to Dave Nonis the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL after working at the NHL head office as their Senior Director, Central Registry and Senior Advisor, Central Scouting. He joined the NHL administration in 1999. With Toronto he will assist with the salary cap, collective bargaining agreement and contract negotiations.

Port Perry MoJacks and Port Perry Minor Hockey are joining forces to host the Erie Otters and Belleville Bulls at the Scugog Arena in an OHL pre-season game on Friday, September 5th at 7:30. Tickets can be obtained in person at the Scugog Arena on August 25, 26, 27 and 28 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Payment is by cash only.


The 2014-2015 pre-season and regular season are now available for viewing on Pointstreak.


Schmalz Cup champions, the Lakefield Fitzsimmons Chiefs, open the Central regular season with a visit to the Clarington Eagles on Wednesday, September 17th.

 

 

 

 

 

Schmalz Cup journey ends in triumph

The Lakefield Fitzsimmons Chiefs capped off a successful season by bringing the Schmalz Cup home. The Central League's regular season and playoff champions defeated Picton and Grimsby before sweeping Essex in 4 games to claim the OHA Junior C crown.Congratulations!
