OHA Honours Art Field

Founder and President of the Little Britain Merchants, Art Field accepts the Gold Stick Award from OHA Chairman, Brad Grant at the AGM held June 20th at the Nottawsaga Inn, Alliston. The Central League congratulates Art for his continuing commitment and dedication to Junior hockey.

Snoddon Captures Top Honour

Congratulations to Little Britain's Terry Snoddon on being named the OHA's Junior C Player of the Year!

CLARINGTON EAGLES ARE PLAYOFF CHAMPS

Congratulations to the Clarington Eagles on sweeping the Uxbridge Bruins to become playoff champions of the Central Ontario Junior C league.

The Eagles will now face the Empire League's Port Hope Panthers, who also swept their series with the Napanee Raiders, on their quest for the Schmalz Cup.

Captain, Mitchell Marchbank, accepts the Cougar Cup in the post game ceremony.

Captain Carter Vahey accepts the Central League trophy on behalf of the Uxbridge Bruins for their first place finish in league play this season.

ANNUAL AWARD WINNERS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Terry Snoddon accepts the Erv Downey Memorial Award as the MVP for the Central League from last year's winner, team mate Kurtis Moore.

The presentation was made in Little Britain on Saturday, February 14th.

SCORING CHAMPION

Terry Snoddon of the Little Britain Merchants accepts the award for top scorer for the Central League from Convener, Liz Basinger.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Port Perry MoJack, Blake Shaw, accepts the Percy Macklin Memorial Award from Convener, Liz Basinger.

The presentation was made in Port Perry on Sunday, February 15, 2015.

Uxbridge Bruins, Jake Joosten and Brandon Francey received the Smith Family award for team goaltending. At the conclusion of the regular season, the duo posted a GAA of 2.45 to lead the Central League.

Travis Brault - Fitzsimmons Lakefield Chiefs

FEBRUARY PLAYER OF THE MONTH

The Central Ontario Junior "C" Hockey League is pleased to announce that Travis Brault of the Fitzsimmons Lakefield Chiefs has been selected as the Ontario Hockey Association's Player of the Month for January/February.

Travis is a 4th year veteran with the Chiefs who excels as a power play forward and penalty killer. Over the final 11 games of the regular schedule, Travis garnered 21 points which put him solidly on top of the Chiefs scoring list.

Off the ice, Travis volunteers as a timekeeper for minor hockey in Peterborough and is a Kawartha Food Share volunteer. He has been certified for non violent crisis intervention and safeTALK and is listed on the Trent University Dean's Honour Roll.

Congratulations Travis!
